📖 Common Percentage Formulas
X% of Y = Y × (X ÷ 100)
Example: 15% of 200 = 200 × 0.15 = 30
X is what % of Y = (X ÷ Y) × 100
Example: 30 is what % of 200? 30 ÷ 200 × 100 = 15%
% Change = (New − Old) ÷ Old × 100
Example: from 100 to 135 → (135 − 100) ÷ 100 × 100 = 35% increase
Discounted Price = Original × (1 − Discount% ÷ 100)
Example: $500 with 20% off → 500 × 0.8 = $400 (save $100)
